A Prayer to the Holy Spirit

March 6th, 2014

Holy Spirit, you who make me see everything and show me the way to reach my ideals.

You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and You who are in all instances of my life with me.

I want to Thank You for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desires may be, I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory.

Amen.

While mentioning your request, you must promise to either publish this prayer or to circulate the favour. After the third day, the request will be granted, no matter how difficult it may be.

Mark Wills Looking For America with lyrics

February 25th, 2012

Mark Wills Looking For America with lyrics

I’m chasing down a memory
Of the way that things used to be
Kids playing underneath an old street light
Knowing they were safe when they laid down at night
I’m looking for something I ain’t seen in a while
I’m looking for a factory
Where a man can feed his family
Not worried about them moving it South
Closing the doors and shut’ner down tomorrow
I’m looking for America

(Chorus)

The land of the free and home of the brave
Seems like I just woke up one day
And it was gone, long gone
But I know in my heart is still out there
Can somebody please tell me where
I’m looking for America

I’m searching for an old church steeple
Where inside you find people
Who live their lives unashamed
And they ain’t afraid to say God’s name out loud
I’m looking for America

Chorus

I’m out here looking for the truth
A few folks to waive the red white and blue
Who still believe freedom isn’t free
And I guess is up to you and me to find it
Yeah we got to find it
Cause we’re looking for

Chorus

Muse – Uprising with Lyrics

January 14th, 2011

The following is a great tune from Muse named Uprising which is now a few years old.

For your enjoyment I have included the lyrics.

Muse – Uprising Lyrics

The paranoia is in bloom,
The PR transmissions will resume,
They’ll try to push drugs to keep us all dumbed down,
And hope that we will never see the truth around,

SO COME ON!

Another promise, another seed,
Another packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed,
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds,
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined,

SO COME ON!

They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
And we will be victorious!

SO COME ON!

Interchanging mind-control,
Come, let the revolution take its toll,
If you could flick a switch and open your third eye,
You’d see that we should never be afraid to die,

SO COME ON!

Rise up and take the power back,
It’s time that the fat cats had a heart attack,
You know that their time’s coming to an end,
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend!

SO COME ON!

They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
And we will be victorious!

SO COME ON!

They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
And we will be victorious!

SO COME ON!

COME ON!

Santa Letter in an Email

December 7th, 2008

With Christmas only a few days away, I was looking for a fast way to send a few Santa Letters to my children.   While there are quite a few sites that physically mail a letter I was not willing to spend $30+ for three letters to my kids.  Heck with $30 I can get them a Nintendo DS game, one which they would play with for a year at least.   Nevertheless I came accross a Personalized Email from Santa site.   I proceeded to order, they take PayPal (I hate using a credit card online) yeah call me old fashioned, I call it being cautious and smart. Within minutes I got an email with a link to the Santa Claus letter addressed to my children.  I was impressed.  I ordered another two – two more emails and links to each letter personalized.

I called one of my children over and they were excited with a smile from ear to ear as they read the letter.

All in all, I spent a total of $7.47 and in my opinion – money well spent.

This Christmas give your kid a gift they will remember – An Email from Santa Claus.

Shipping Labels

November 16th, 2007

If you do any online selling of tangible goods you know that you require shipping labels in order to ship the orders to your customers. I have tried and used many non brand name and brand name shipping labels such as Avery shipping labels.

I could easily say the Avery shipping labels are by far a better quality and you get what you pay for. However that is not always the case. The shipping labels found at buskerdoo.com are of great quality and value. They look similar and apply and stick just as well as the Avery shipping labels brand. The labels are of non-smudge stock with permanent adhesive and can be printed on using your laser printer or ink jet printer.

They come in various sizes and you have a choice of ordering 250 sheets to 1,000 sheets. The labels are far cheaper than the brand names and shipping is included. Buskerdoo.com also offers various other related merchandise including, dvd and cd labels.

Britax Decathlon Convertible Car Seat

November 8th, 2007

When it comes to choosing a child car seat there are many car seats on the market. Some can be cheap while other can be more expensive.  For us when it comes to our children’s safety cost is not a factor.  Normally you would buy a car seat for newborns as they grow you would buy one for toddlers and then a booster seat.  In total that is three different car seats.

Britax has come up with a brilliant design in the Decathlon Convertible Car Seat which is for newborns from 5 lbs. all the way to children up to 65 lbs.  Newborns should always be facing to the rear of the vehicle this protects their neck should a sudden stop occur.  In the backward facing position the Decathlon Convertible Car Seat is rated for 5 lbs to 33 lbs.  In the forward facing position (usually just over one year of age) they are rated for up to 65 lbs.

The Britax Decathlon Convertible Car Seat is made with comfort foam as well as EPS protective foam.  The tangle-free 5 point harness push button harness makes it a breeze to get your child in and out of the seat and it has a removable and washable seat cover for those milk spills.

When installing a car seat, one should be sure that it is properly installed for a nice snug fit.  The car seat should not have any movement forward or side to side.

For style, comfort, safety and convenience, if I have to purchase another car seat for a new baby I would recommend the Britax decathlon convertible car seat.

September 27th, 2007

One of the best ways of finding a job, no matter where you are living is by networking. Yes, if you are out of a gig or if you’re on the prowl for a new one, or you just can’t put up with working another minute with you know who, it’s time for a change.

Asking friends or relatives, if they know of any openings, is always the easiest and one of the best ways of networking. But, let’s say you are new to a city and let’s say it’s the city of San Diego in California, you don’t know anyone and the closest relative is in the next State.

Sure you can pick up the local paper and checkout the careers section or head down to the unemployment office. But today, you’re in one of those moods and you just don’t feel like leaving home. Well you’ll be happy to know of Insourced. At Insourced, you can look for any specific job, in any specific town, city, state or zip code and yes they have listings for San Diego Jobs too.

Halloween Costumes for the Whole Family

September 26th, 2007

Halloween is one of the best times of the year. You can be whoever and whatever you would like and no one questions it. It is the one time you can really let loose and be anything your imagination can dream up. From children’s Halloween costumes to adult Halloween costumes, they come in all shapes and sizes as well as fantasies.

For adult Halloween costumes the sky is the limit. You could be the superhero you always claimed to be as a child, or perhaps you want to get a little frisky with a sexy Halloween costume. Adult Halloween costumes range from the demure to the downright sexy with everything in between. Maybe you have always dreamed of being a knight in shining armor, or an alien. Adult Halloween costumes are very unique now and incorporate the best of the realistic world as well as the supernatural. You no longer have to just wear a plain old mask and a sheet that makes you look like a ghost. Sexy Halloween costumes for adults are all the rage as well. They take the typical mom and dad and make them into fun and amorous couples. From playboy bunnies to a sexy police woman you can find them all either online or in retail stores.

For children, Halloween costumes are as cute as they can be, or as spooky as your children can handle. From the cute little lion to the scary zombie, there are many choices of what your children’s Halloween costume can look like. Many parents choose to make their own, but they are much more fun and spooktacular when they come already made. The designs are so realistic that even your child will wonder if their Halloween costume is real or fake. This Halloween do yourself a favour and let your daydreams or nightmares flow and become what you want with a fantastic adult, sexy, or children’s Halloween costume.

Senior Communities Directory

September 9th, 2007

As I discussed in my last post Retirement Communities in regards to their popularity and wiser choice for the aging population who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city life. I have come across a directory/guide which provides listings to senior 55+ communities. The 55 community guide has a fantastic search feature which I really like because it allows you to narrow your search to specific locations around the United States by city, state or zip code.

Whether you are looking for a beach and waterfront property, condo or town home, a gated community or resort home, at the 55 community guide you will find many listings including ones for the more popular states of Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and a whole lot more.

Retirement Communities

August 14th, 2007

If you are contemplating retirement and thinking of relocating because you are tired of the big city lifestyle, you might want to consider living in a retirement community. There are many advantages of living in retirement communities and you don’t have to sacrifice any conveniences you have become accustomed to. You actually might like the much laid back and friendly atmosphere. Most retirement communities have all of the amenities right in town so you will not have to drive for miles nor have to fight congested highways and streets to get to the supermarket. With this aspect alone you will be much happier and experience little to, no stress.

The prices of homes tend to be much cheaper in a retirement community. You would be able to sell your current big city home and buy another in a smaller town for less than half and live off of the remainder or take a trip you have always wanted to. Your property taxes, home insurance, and vehicle insurance would drop immensely and let us not forget retirement communities are much safer when it comes to crime and murder.

If you are 55 plus, make a wise decision, to start enjoying your life the way you deserve to.

Kitchen Renovations

August 8th, 2007

After years of living in an apartment dwelling we recently moved into a house. The kitchen was a little outdated and we wanted to bring the 70’s looking kitchen into year 2007. While renovating a kitchen is not exactly what I’d like to call a small and simple task, we decided on getting some professional help. My wife and I decided on replacing the kitchen floor, cupboards and drawers, sink and countertop.

We looked at many different designs and colours and we decided on going with a light coloured kitchen with a beautiful looking granite countertop. There were various granite countertops to choose from as well but my wife selected a gorgeous looking speckled granite countertop.

Even though a granite countertop is one of the most durable types available. We have been forewarned from family and friends that we must take good care of it to keep looking its best. Without a doubt the amount of money that is being spent on this project we should have not problems in doing so.

The renovation has just started and we expect the work to be completed in about 10 days. If you are looking at getting your kitchen renovated, I advise on getting a few estimates and ask for references before selecting a contractor to do the work.

Selling Your Life Insurance Policy

July 24th, 2007

A few months ago I posted about Liquefying an Insurance Policy. Today I will tell you a little about the process of selling your life insurance policy.

As you know if you are considering canceling your life insurance policy or selling an existing life insurance, Structured Settlement Quotes will take over your insurance policy and pay you a lump sum settlement.

The first step would be to actually find out what amount is needed from your insurance policy to pay any of your outstanding debts. Once this has been calculated, it is time to figure out the exact monthly, quarterly or other time frame payment details.

After receiving an estimated value of your policy, SSQ would then match up your financial needs with the best structured settlement company getting you the best factoring quote for your needs.

Provided you are content with the financial numbers, documents are signed to continue the process. Basically, the whole transfer process takes anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks including the underwriting and State Judge approval.

For more information on selling your policy contact Structured Settlements Quotes web site for more details.

Replacing ink Cartridges

July 23rd, 2007

Many times when you purchase a printer after a month or two of printing those wonderful and colourful pages, photos or homework assignments you notice how quick you tend to run out of ink.

I normally find it cheaper to just toss the printer into the trash and purchase a new one rather than replacing the ink cartridges. Cartridges normally cost just as much if not more than what I paid for the printer. I guess you can see what I am getting at. Why buy a new ink cartridge when I can get a whole new printer for the same amount of cash?

Not so is the case with the Epson Stylus D92 Printer. It has four individual ink cartridges at a price of only £6.99 each, which makes it very cost-effective as you only have to replace the individual colour. So if the black, blue, yellow or magenta ink colour runs out that’s the only ink cartridge you have to replace.

Before you consider tossing out your printer have a look at www.eezytrade.co.uk they offer both the original and compatible Epson Stylus D92 Printer Ink cartridges starting at only £3.49 each, including the VAT. Now those are ink cartridges worth replacing.

That Baby Scent

July 3rd, 2007

So you are having your first child, there is nothing more joyous nor more precious in the world than having your first bundle of joy. My wife and I had three, a boy and two girls and let me tell you there is nothing more miraculous in this world.

Ever notice a newborn baby’s scent? They smell so fresh, so clean and so innocent. Their hands and feet are so tiny, skin so soft and delicate. When it came time to bathing our children there was only one name we trusted and that was Johnson’s. Johnson’s baby moisturizing lotion is gentle, smooth, rich and creamy and helps keep a new borns skin nourished, soft and protected.

We would place our newborn child in a baby washing basin with warm water, always being extra careful with their neck and head. First washed their hair with Johnson’s moisture care baby wash, it is gentle on eyes and then lathered them up. Rinsed them off and wrapped them in a soft towel. We would dry him or her off and dress them in those cute little outfits. Fed them their formula, as we would hold and smother them with lots of love and kisses.  It was quiet time for the next two hours.

Johnson’s is a well known household name in our home and when it came to child care products for our children we trusted the Johnson name and so should you.

Liquefying an Insurance Policy

May 27th, 2007

I know with the times being tough lately the economy is not performing up to par. While our wages have not increased, the price of energy is continuing to rise, driving up the prices of food, clothing and other life necessities. The inflation is hurting us all we have to find a way to cut corners.

So we start thinking what am I spending money on that I can do without? One of the first thing people will do is stop contributing to their life insurance policy.

I would not be so quick at doing that because there is a Structured Settlement Quotes Site that will take over your insurance policy and even pay you for it! Did you know SSQ pays a discounted rate of the policy’s net death benefit amount?

There are a few things that are considered when it comes to estimating the amount of your life insurance policy. They calculate your life expectancy and the cost of premiums to keep the policy renewed and up to date for a particular time.

There are two types of life insurance settlement transactions; life settlements and viatical settlements.

With Life settlement policies SSQ creates immediate liquidity of an unwanted and non-performing asset, netting the policy owner a nice lump sum payment of cash. The other is viatical settlements; SSQ would liquefy the insurance policy should the policy owner be facing a terminal illness, so they can use the funds to pay for high costs of medical care.

If you are thinking of canceling your life insurance or selling an existing life insurance policy contact Structured Settlements Quotes Site for more information.

Great Looking Site, No Visitors

April 28th, 2007

Having a visually stimulating site for visitors is important but what is also equally important is getting visitors to your site. There are various ways of getting those visitors to your site; one way is using pay per click; however that can get rather expensive depending on the going rate for the particular key words you are targeting. The cheapest and most effective way to get visitors to your site is by have your website rank on the top three search engines: Google, Yahoo and MSN.

How do you get top positions on the big three search engines for your keywords? Well, I have been doing it for the past 7 years and to explain it would take a few pages of me explaining and you doing a lot of reading and discovering the keys of achieving that success. The other would be to have a company such as Dewitts Media Company handle it for you.

Dewitts offers seo (search engine optimization) services as well as professional Website Design, and graphics design. Their link building and directory submission services will help your search engine rankings. The plans fit everyone’s budget whether you are looking at starter packages or expert packages; DeWitts will help to get you visitors by getting your site to the front page.

Sterling Silver Jewelry When Traveling

February 14th, 2007

I tend to travel a lot and when I travel I prefer to leave my gold jewelry at home because you just never know what can happen when you are in a foreign country. So when I do, I wear my silver jewelry. My thinking is should I loose my sterling silver chains, bracelet or rings. I can easily replace them cheaply and inexpensively. Plus it looks great when sporting a tan.

I buy all of my .925 Sterling Silver Jewellery online or at the local flea market. Online I found a great little boutique with traditional and modern silver jewelry called Silver Treats. They have been around since 2003 and carry a nice line of silver jewellery for men and silver jewellery for women with cheap prices.
